Sasa Numic is a producer, writer, and director based in Los Angeles, California. He made his debut in filmmaking at the age of 18 with his first short film, “Forbidden Fruit,” inspired by his mother receiving 38 pounds of oranges from the Red Cross during the bombing of Belgrade.
As a teenager, Sasa also completed four transformative years studying Design, where his discovery of painting ignited a profound passion that fueled his journey into the design, animation and film.
After completing his studies in Design and earning a BA in Film from the Academy of Arts in Belgrade, Sasa relocated to New York City. There, he established himself as a freelance music video director, achieving notable success with videos amassing over 7 million views. Concurrently, he served as an Art Director, counting Apple among his main clients.
In 2013, Sasa earned his MFA from the American Film Institute Conservatory, where he was selected as the commencement speaker representing his graduating class. His short films have been featured prominently at international film festivals.
Currently, Sasa Numic is immersed in the development of his debut feature project.
